St. Thomas gets Walk-Off Win Over Northwood

The St, Thomas Lady Bobcats opened up conference play this afternoon with a 1-0 win against Northwood University. It took until extra innings for the Bobcats to push across the only run of the game. The walk off single by Carissa Albizu scored Gina Guffanti to seize the win. Guffanti was on second due to the Texas Tiebreaker rule, and Albizu put the first pitch of the inning into right center field for the win. The Lady Bobcats will take on Northwood again Saturday in a double header starting at noon.
