STU jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the first inning on multiple errors by Northwood. The Bobcats loaded the bases three times as
Sasha Horton,
Brittany Lacasse and
Danielle Borrelli all came across to score.
In the second inning, Horton and
Carley Distasio led off the inning with back-to-back singles, then were driven home via a 2-RBI double by Lacasse.
Horton finished the day 2-4 with two runs scored to lead all offensive players.
