DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - At The Sun Conference tournament banquet on Thursday at the Sunset Harbor Yacht Club, STU'S Tetiana Kovalska was named to the All-Conference First Team roster while Camille Allen received Academic All-Conference honors. 

On Friday, however, the team fell short in the first round of The Sun Conference Tournament, 5-3, to Ave Maria. 

Kovalska and Brigitte Bustamante were undefeated on the day, topping their opponents in the no. 1 doubles match and notching wins in the first and fourth positions, respectively, but STU defaulted a No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles, giving the Gyrenes a 2-set advantage for the win.
