MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. – St. Thomas women's tennis took on Ave Maria over the weekend. The Bobcats dominated the Gyrenes 9-0. The clean sweep marks the first team victory for STU this season.
The Bobcats won all three doubles match ups. Ave Maria put up a good fight on courts one and two but Ashley Ahern and Lauren Lightfoot dominated their match up on court three 8-0.
St. Thomas also dominated in all six singles match ups. Tetiana Kovalska and Ashley Ahern picked up their third wins of the season. The other four Bobcats earned their first victories of the season.
