BOBCATS OFF TO GREAT START IN CLERMONT

Box Score CLERMONT, Fla. - St. Thomas (3-3) scored 18 runs in a doubleheader sweep over Point Park (0-2) on Saturday to open the Spring Games Tournament at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla.

The Bobcats won the first game 9-2 and followed that with a 9-1 victory.

Jessica Castiglione (1-1) was the winning pitcher in game one. Greta Longagnani (1-0) earned the win in the second game. Meghan Riddle had a monster all-around game offensively, defensively and on the basepaths.

The tournament continues Sunday with St. Thomas taking on Davenport followed by a game vs. Lourdes.
