Box Score 2 MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – St. Thomas (1-1) and Coastal Georgia (1-1) split a season-opening doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Bobcat Field. Coastal Georgia won the first game 7-4. St. Thomas bounced back with a 4-1 win in game two.

Penton then drove in
Carson Catasus in the fourth inning with a RBI-single to give the Bobcats a 4-0 lead. The Mariners came back with a run the fifth. The game was called after 5 ½ innings due to darkness.

STU returns to action with a road trip to Daytona Beach to face Embry-Riddle on Feb. 13.
