Box Score Softball: Keiser 4, St. Thomas 3 (8 Innings)
 
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Keiser (14-18, 2-4 TSC) defeated St. Thomas (14-17, 3-3 TSC) 4-3 in extra innings on Thursday evening at Bobcat Field.  The game was the completion of a contest from March 24 that was postponed due to rain.
 
Thursday's action began in the bottom of the fourth inning with St. Thomas up to bat and Keiser leading 3-1.  The deficit for STU remained at two runs until the bottom of the sixth when Carson Catasus singled to center field, then scored on an RBI triple by Jamie Gonzalez.  Alexis Castroman then recorded an RBI ground out to score Catasus and tie the game at 3-3.
 
Neither team was able to score in the seventh inning as the game went to extra innings.  The Seahawks managed to score a run in the top of the eighth to take a 4-3 lead.  The Bobcats were then blanked in the bottom of the eighth to seal the win for Keiser.
 
Pitcher Jessica Castiglione (1-2) allowed just three hits over four innings for the Bobcats.  Riley Caylor earned win with a complete game performance.
 
St. Thomas returns to action on Friday, April 15 with a doubleheader at Warner in Lake Wales, Fla.
