MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (February 22^nd, 2020) - The St. Thomas University Bobcats (0-1-1) opened up the 2020 Beach Volleyball season at home from the STU Sand Volleyball courts on Friday and Saturday afternoon. The Sun Conference tournament featured teams from Southeastern University (Fla.), Ave Maria University (Fla.), and Florida Memorial University. The Bobcats split the six-matches with the Gyrenes on Friday afternoon and lost to the Fire one-match to five.

Tyran Chenault and partner Arianna Bolinger led the way for St. Thomas sweeping their matches on the weekend. Taylor Turner and Sofia Adorno as well as Dani Femat and Anya Vavan took home victories on Friday afternoon.
