MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (February 20, 2024) - The St. Thomas University (STU) Beach Volleyball team will be hosting their first two matches to kick off the 2024 season. They will first face Florida Memorial University before hosting Southeastern University on Friday afternoon. 

The Bobcats will kick off their season with the Battle of Miami Gardens on Friday, February 23rd at 10 a.m. St. Thomas leads the Lions in series history, 4-1. The Bobcats defeated the Lions in their last meeting in 2023, 4-1. Round two of the Battle of Miami Gardens will take place on Friday March 15th at Florida Memorial. 

Next up, the Bobcats will host Southeastern University on Friday, February 23rd at 2:00 p.m. In their last meeting, the Bobcats fell to the Fire 2-3 at home. The Bobcats are down one in series history against Southeastern, 2-3. They last defeated the Fire in 2021, beating them 4-1.  

The Bobcats will be playing their home matches at Suellen H Fardelmann Cooper City Sports Complex in Cooper City, Fla.
