Miami Gardens, Fla. - After setting the St. Thomas University Track and Field's program record in the Heptathlon at the 2025 Sun Conference Indoor Championship with a Gold Medal earning performance, the University of Miami's Air Force ROTC recognized the Bobcats's
Landan Creighton.
Going up against the best in the Sun Conference in seven events, Creighton finished with the top marks in the High Jump and Pole Vault while adding a runner-up showing in the Long Jump to accumulate 4460 points.
"This accomplishment not only exemplifies Landan's dedication to physical excellence but also serves as a testament to the core values instilled by the Air Force ROTC program." Lt. Col L. Regina Purnell-Adams said. "This milestone reflects the strength of character and resilience that defines Air Force ROTC cadets, who are trained to face challenges head-on, whether on the track or in the field of duty!"
