Miami Gardens, Fla. - Turkish soccer club Avcılar Cihangir Spor Kadın announced the transfer of former St. Thomas University Women's Soccer standout Natalie Strkalj. The Toronto, Canada product makes the move after previously playing for KFF Vllaznia. 

"I'm really excited to be playing for my new club and to continue to grow as a player in a professional environment," Strkalj said. "Every experience that I have had so far professionally and in college has taught me something and my time at St. Thomas University especially helped me prepare in the best way." 

Concluding her collegiate career at STU, Strkalj started in 16 games for the Bobcats with 1,044 minutes on the field over 17 matches. Midfielder logged one goal with the Bobcats, coming on her senior night, while helping the Bobcats advance to the Sun Conference Tournament. 

After leaving Miami Gardens with a Master's Degree in Sports Administration, Strkalj began her professional career at ŽNK Hajduk Split. She then moved on to KFF Vllaznia where she helped her club make it to the UEFA Champions League Women Qualification Second Stage as well as the Second Round of the Europa League Qualifiers. 

She now joins a Avcilar Cihangir program that sits atop the Kadinlar 2 standings and with an 11-1-0 record, good for 34 points which has them in position for a promotion to the Turkish Super Lig.
