MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (May 25, 2021) - The St. Thomas University (STU) 2021 Football schedule has been released. Under the direction of Head Coach and Athletic Director
Bill Rychel, Bobcat Football enters the program's third season in 2021.

The Bobcats open the 2021 campaign on Saturday, September 4, against the University Of Pikeville (KY.) at home. St. Thomas will celebrate Community Day, First Responders Day, and Orange Bowl President's Day at the home opener.

St. Thomas travels to Lebanon, TN., to take on the Cumberland University Phoenix on Saturday, September 11.

STU returns home to take on St. Andrews University (NC.) on Saturday, September 18, where the Bobcats will raise awareness for Childhood Cancer and host High School Bands Day with a "Battle of the Bands."

Following a mid-season bye week, St. Thomas begins Sun Division play with back-to-back road games against Warner University (10/2) and Webber International University (10/9). STU is 3-0 all-time against the WU Royals, having won two games in overtime.

For the first time in the history of the crosstown rivalry, STU Football faces off with the Lions of Florida Memorial University in the inaugural "Battle of Miami Gardens" on Saturday, October 16, and will raise awareness for breast cancer in the annual "Pink Game" for the first home Sun Division game contest of the season.

The Bobcats continue the longest home-stand of the season, hosting both Ave Maria University (10/23) and Southeastern University (10/29). STU will hold its annual Homecoming game on Saturday, October 23, against Ave Maria. The 2021 home finale against Southeastern on October 29 will honor the first STU Football Senior class and the St. Thomas University faculty.

STU completes the 2021 regular season with two consecutive road games, taking on Keiser University on Saturday, November 6, to end the Sun Division schedule before taking on Point University (Ga.) on Saturday, November 13, to conclude the 2021 season.
