A two-sport athlete during her time at St. Thomas University, Castrillon played both Softball and Women’s Basketball. In 2008, Castrillon batted 0.325, lead STU in home runs (4) and had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage on the softball field.

Castrillon returned to the diamond in 2010, finishing second on the team in batting average (0.354), appearing in 30 games and collecting 28 hits. Castrillon earned All-Conference honors.

Castrillon concluded her Bobcat Softball career in 2011, playing 46 games and adding two home runs.

The 2011 Softball team, for the first time in program history, advanced to the NAIA Opening Round National Tournament and went 31-24.

For her Softball career, Castrillon appeared in 101 games, recorded 72 hits, 20 doubles, six home runs and 47 RBIs, with a 0.290 batting average.

As a freshman in 2007-08, Castrillon led the Bobcats in minutes (621), field goals (88) and points (273) as St. Thomas finished the season 16-9 and in second place in the Florida Sun Conference.

In her second season on the hardwood, Castrillon was the second-highest average scorer (14.1 ppg), scoring 225 points in 16 games. St. Thomas won the regular season Sun Conference championship, going 22-7 and 10-2 in Sun Conference play. Additionally, Castrillon earned All-Sun Conference Second-Team honors.

In 2009 – 2010, Castrillon led St. Thomas in points-per-game (14.67), assists (77), including a career-best 49 three-pointers made en route to a NAIA National Tournament Appearance, under Bobcat Hall of Famer, Robin Harmony ’18 and First-Team Sun Conference recognition.

For her career on the court, Castrillon became the first-ever Women’s Basketball player to eclipse the 1,000-point mark
