Marinka Bisceglia was inducted to the Hall of Fame in the 1995 inaugural class. During her time here she was a member of the STU Softball team. Bisceglia, was a two-time First-Team Academic All-American (1988-89) and Academic All-American of the Year for Softball in 1988. Was the NCAA DII Softball leader in strikeout ratio with 10.0 in 1987. She recorded a career .400 batting average and averaged 10 strikeouts per seven innings as a pitcher. Marinka is the only female is STU Athletics to be named CoSIDA Academic All-American twice.
