Hall of Fame
Dan Phister was the Head Coach of the Biscayne College (St. Thomas University) baseball team from 1967-71. He found success despite having squads as small as 13 players, including walk-ons. He coached the Bobcats to their first win over the University of Miami and even more astoundingly swept a doubleheader from the New York Yankees AA minor league team. Phister was also the personal instructer to Bobcat lefty Joe Klink who went on to the majors and won a World Series with the Oakland A's.
