Michelle Smith played for the Bobcats Women’s Soccer team from 1996-1999 as a forward.  She tallied a STU record 96 career goals and 37 assists.  43 of those goals came during her sophomore year and led the Nation in scoring.

Her national recognition went beyond the 1997 season as she made three national tournament appearances and was named an All-American twice.  She did all of this while working as the co-owner of Wall 2 Wall Indoor soccer.

Hired in 2006, as STU’s Head Women’s Soccer Coach, Michelle Smith is now sharing her knowledge and guidance with a new generation of Bobcats.  Each season the team has progressed under Smith’s helm.  The team has qualified for 4 post season appearances under Smith with an overall record of 40-55-1.

Smith is the mother of Jodi, age eight and remains the co-owner of Wall 2 Wall Indoor Soccer, the first indoor soccer facility to be established in Miami. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University.
